LEARN THE RULES
Played in pairs
Padel is played in doubles. Scoring and changing sides are the same as in tennis.
Serve is underarmed. Stand behind the service line, bounce the ball and hit it below your waist line. Land the ball inside the opponent’s diagonal square.
The ball is out if it hits the glass/mesh on the full or if it touches the mesh after one bounce.
When a good serve touches the net, a let (second serve) will occur.
Put the ball on the opposite side of the net back and forth until someone makes a mistake. Win the point as you would do in a tennis match or taking advantage of the glass walls. View a full point taking advantage of the glass walls video.
Don’t forget to respect the other players and the equipment at all times and to dress appropriately for the match.
